Southern BBQ Bowl
Get your cornbread ready because this savory BBQ bowl, made with Bush’s® Slow Cooked & Savory Sidekicks and all your favorite Southern fixins’, is sure to satisfy. Don’t forget to drizzle it with BBQ sauce!

Ingredients
- Southern BBQ Bowl
- 3 medium sweet potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper
- 3 cups coleslaw mix
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 can Slow-Cooked N’Savory Pinto Beans
- 1 pound pulled pork
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2/3 cups bread and butter pickle chips
- BBQ sauce, for serving
Cooking Instructions
- 1PREHEAT
Preheat the oven to 425F.
- 2ROAST
Toss the sweet potatoes with the vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon salt and roast in a baking sheet in the oven until the sweet potatoes are browned on all sides and softened, 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- 3TOSS
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, toss the coleslaw mix with the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. Warm the Slow-Cooked N’ Savory Pinto Beans in a saucepan.
- 4ASSEMBLE
To assemble the bowls, divide the roasted sweet potato among 4 bowls. Top with pulled pork, coleslaw, Slow-Cooked N’Savory Pinto Beans, red onion slices, pickle chips and serve with bbq sauce.
