Bush’s® Crispy Pinto Dippers
These crispy bean patties made with Bush’s® Blue Label Pinto Beans are filled with savory flavor and pan-fried to perfection. Serve them with a cool and tangy yogurt dipping sauce for an easy appetizer.

Ingredients
- Crispy Pinto Dippers
- 1 cup parsley leaves and some tender stems
- ½ small yellow onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
- 2 (16 oz) cans Bush’s® Pinto Beans, drained
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- Yogurt Dipping Sauce
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 2 Tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 tsp kosher salt
Cooking Instructions
- 1PULSE
Combine parsley, onion, and garlic in bowl of a food processor and pulse until onions are finely chopped but not pureed. Add drained pinto beans, chili powder, and salt to same food processor bowl and pulse until beans are coarsely chopped and combined with onions.
- 2FORM
To form bean patties, measure about 2 Tbsp of the mixture into your hands and gently pat into a patty. Repeat with remaining mixture.
- 3COOK
Cook patties in batches. Heat 2 Tbsp vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet, add about half the patties to pan, and cook until golden brown and crispy on edges, 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and repeat with remaining oil and patties.
- 4WHISK
To make dipping sauce, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, cilantro and salt in small bowl.
- 5SERVE
Serve the patties with the yogurt.
