Bush’s® Barbecue Chicken Nachos

A little bit of beans add a lotta-bit of flavor in these nachos topped with barbecue chicken, tangy pickled red onions, Bush’s® Baked Beans, and queso. Serve with sour cream and sliced jalapeños for an extra kick.

  • Barbecue Chicken Nachos
  • 1 lb barbecue chicken, shredded
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 pkg (10-12 oz) tortilla chips
  • 1 can (28 oz) Bush’s® Original Baked Beans
  • 1 cup queso
  • ¼ cup jalapeños, sliced
  • ¼ cup sour cream (optional)
  • ⅓ cup pickled onions (optional)
  • Pickled Red Onions
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Cooking Instructions

    PREHEAT

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

      MIX

      Mix chicken with barbecue sauce, set aside.

      Layer tortilla chips on a sheet pan.

      Bake in oven 10 minutes or until beans are warm.

        Serve with sour cream & pickled onions if desired.

        OPTIONAL

        Place onions in heat proof bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan & bring to a boil. Pour liquid over onions and let cool to room temperature before serving, about 30 minutes. Leftover onions can be stored in refrigerator 4 days.
