Chipotle Grilled Pinto Beans with Honey
Grilled bacon, jalapeño and onions are tossed with our delicious Pinto Beans, chipotle chile powder, garlic and honey for a sweet, hot dish. These recipes were created with our gluten-free friends in mind. However, we recommend reading each label to make sure every ingredient suits your dietary needs. Ingrédients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 jalapeño, halved and seeded
- 1 medium onion, peeled and halved
- 1 can (16 oz) Bush's® Pinto Beans, drained
- 2 tsp chipotle chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp honey
- 12-inch x 12-inch piece of heavy duty aluminum foil (for grill version)
Instructions de cuisson
- 1PRÉPARER
Turn up edges of aluminum foil to form a tray, set aside.
- 2CHAUFFER
Heat grill to medium.
- 3GRILLER
Cook bacon strips, jalapeño and onion directly on grill until cooked thoroughly but not charred.
- 4HACHER
Remove to cutting board, chop evenly and place on aluminum foil tray.
- 5MÉLANGER
Toss with beans, chipotle chili powder, garlic and honey.
- 6SERVIR
Keep warm in foil tray until serving.
