Ken Enck has been "fueling" NASCAR drivers for more than 11 years. Ken is the proprietor of Enck's Custom Catering, based in Manheim, PA, and provides meals for many NASCAR racing teams.
After 23 years in the restaurant business, Ken joined the Winston Cup Series as a crewman. He saw how poorly drivers and their crews ate on race days and began to bring them soups and salads. Ken soon became the official caterer for several teams and currently cooks for 20 different teams.
Ken has the inside scoop on favorite foods of drivers including Kyle Petty, Rusty Wallace, Jerry Nadeau, Kenny Schrader and Richard Petty. He enjoys mixing up his menu with regional dishes, but his favorite meal is still pig roast and baked beans, which Ken enjoyed while growing up in Pennsylvania's Dutch country.
Ken has made national television appearances including Fox Sports Net's NASCAR Nation and local television appearances in numerous racing venues. Enck has also been featured in the Star Gazette, Pennsylvania's local newspaper and Charlotte's Lowe's Motor Speedway event programs.
In addition to his catering business and attending nearly 38 NASCAR races each season, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at their home in Lancaster, PA.
