A. J.'s son Alger Bush and cousin Oscar "Chug" Bush overseeing the Kraut lines at Chestnut Hill. Note single-head cabbage corer mounted on post. The man lifted the cabbage head upside down into the guard on the corer. It was like a drill bit with a propeller that shredded the core. He put the cabbage head on the table. The lady stripped off bad leaves and put it on the belt.
